Create a Flutter Wand for Your Feline Friends

If you're looking for a fairly quick project to make that will result in fun for you and your furball family members, this might be just for you! I first created these wands for an interactive set of artwork a few decades ago. When I was musing on what I could do to recreate them for use with our houseful of cats, this is what I hit upon (no pun intended... these are NOT meant to be used as weaponry of any kind against any live being!)

Follow these simple instructions to bring about hours of fun and pleasure to your own feline family members:

Remember to play with kindness. Watch your cats as you work the Wand. Each cat has their own preferences and tolerances. Don't hit your cat or pull the wand away too quickly or harshly. Be careful if your cat is on a table or chair that is slippery or precariously placed. Be wary of breakables nearby. Try to mind making kitties too dizzy or ramping them up too much. Most of all, have fun and keep your kitties and their happiness at the forefront.
