—These Bowls grew out of a yearly tradition of leaving all our regrets behind us by burning them in fellowship. It has become increasingly clear that we needed to start including a more grounded way to also set strong intentions for the year to come. Some folks showed an interest in making this piece an active part of their daily lives—so we created this Set.
I (Blythe) wrote the booklet that explains a bit about each element and offers suggestions to get the user started. The sweetgrass grows in my garden and is tended to with the utmost TLC along with plenty of gratitude and blessings throughout the process from harvest to braiding. I create the bowls from clay while imbuing them with intentional positivity and blessings, then fire and glaze them. The gems on the trees are carefully affixed by Helene (a friend on a nearby, Earth-friendly farm).
Cost for the Set is $45 (postpaid). Below are the choices in color. Please note, these are NOT necessarily the Bowls available. I can email the buyer a photo of the Set I will be sending if required. Also note that computers don't always show the actual color of the item (and, in my opinion, colors are always more vibrant in person).

Bowl Colors
As you can see, the colors are varied between those pictured above and below... they are the same Bowls. I've tried to name them to give you a sense of their true colors. The matcha Bowl is named the same as the manufacturer—it is a brown glaze with pretty green highlights. The silvery black is really difficult to photograph well. The glaze is basically black but has a very strong silver sheen. The tan and the olive have speckles throughout. If you have any questions, just ask!
Tree Colors
We have three color choices for the trees at this point in time. I have shown them with both black and white backgrounds to help illustrate how much color can vary (even given the same item, camera, lighting, and computer). Again, these are NOT necessarily the tree the buyer will receive. The base rocks vary. If you have a specific request, we can see if it is doable.
More About the Sweetgrass
Our sweetgrass is grown without chemicals or any 'cides. It is in a bed specifically designed so that it can grow and thrive in our Ohio climate. We work to keep other plants out of this bed, though some grasses do sneak in during the growing season. Those are weeded out later in the harvest and preparation for use phases. The photos below show more of our process.
If you wish to purchase...
Feel free to get hold of me through the "Contact" page on this website or go through my store. Each bowl comes in a custom-made box with tissue paper, tied with a ribbon. Each tree is protected by its new cardboard box (see photos below). However, we reuse boxes for mailing in order to be more earth-friendly. These boxes will arrive looking more used but have left our home intact and in proper working order. If your purchase is meant to be a gift and you desire a more pristine arrival on the outside, we will try to comply though there may be added charges.
Thanks for your interest and for looking around... have a wonderfilled day!
