I'm a highly visual huming who follows pictures or drawings first, only resorting to words when I can't sort it out otherwise. Because this is my own default, I prefer to present my instructions with photos of the process rather than relying solely on words for helping others to create.

I have produced patterns and instructions for many years. Whether for creating shekerie rattles from gourds during my classes, or sharing patterns for doll clothing and footwear, I have always included either photos or drawings with the written directions. My whole picture mind loves puzzling the two media together into a more cohesively understandable form. I also believe this choice helps reach a larger variety of minds, for I believe no two minds are truly alike.
